How to save document as RTF format with .doc file extention?

A fool question but really puzzles me.
I want to save the document in RTF format, but filename must be *.doc, I see the Custom Filter property of saveas action, and set it to '*.doc|*.doc', afer run, when I select the filter and click 'SAVE' button, it raises a SAVE Failure error.
Please help me.

I forgot something in last post. Acctually, it's easy to code, but I use RVACTIONS, without idea about it.

RichViewActions does not allow to rename RTF file filter, so using CustomFilter is the only option (excluding renaming RTF file filter in ALL localizations).
An example of implementation of custom file format can be found in EXAMPLES.TXT, included in RichViewActions.
