Table border in saved rtf file

Post by Emilg »

Hi,

I'm trying to save a form as rtf using a table. Borderwidth of the table in richview is set to 0, but the saved rtf shows a grey border around table and cells.

How can i get rid of the border?

Thanks in advance,
Emil

Probably these a grid lines shown in place of invisible borders.
If yes, they must not be visible in read-only mode, print preview and on paper.

The gridlines are indeed not visible in Richview and on paper.
But how do i go about removing them from the saved rtf?

Thanks,
Emil

Gridlines are not saved, they are shown by text editors to simplify editing (otherwise transparent tables without borders would be invisible).
In MS Word, to hide/show grid lines, use menu Table | Show Gridlines.
If they dissappear, they are really grid lines. If not, please send me the original RVF file with this document.

Ok thanks, it's all clear now.
The gridlines can indeed be hidden in MS Word.
